In the Ashram, if someone offers to help, the rule is you cannot say no. I know that can be hard. Some yogis prefer to be self-sufficient, or simply to do it their own way. But this Ashram rule leads to more people offering to help more of the time. And it makes it easier to ask for help. You must! Yes, the yogic goal is independent bliss, so you might think you have to get there independently. But no. You need help to buck the mainstream. You need help to redirect your mind toward the light.
