From my earliest years, I gave my life to God. Well, I tried. For the longest time I wanted to, but my problem was that I couldn’t find God, not the way God was described to me by others. I tried looking in the sky. I looked in the past, about 2,000 years ago. I looked in my mind, in my imagination, in my heart, in my feeling, in my desires. I couldn’t find God. I could tell that I was lost but at least I knew I was lost. And, just like if they sent a search party out to find me, Baba found me. Baba came to the West for me and thousands of other lost souls, technically called yoga brashthas – reincarnated yogis. My home base of the 1960s…
