To make the mundane be Divine. To sanctify something is to make it sacred, to make it holy. A holy object is one in which God is tangibly present, or one that is dedicated to be used only for a sacred purpose, like an arati tray on which we place a candle, along with a flower and other objects to be offered to God or Guru. Holy objects also include locations and people.
