Every person on earth wants to be happy. From morning til night, you’re pursuing this elusive thing – happiness. The founding document of the USA, the Declaration of Independence, declares that every human being has God-given, inalienable rights: the right to life, to liberty and to the pursuit of happiness. Notice that it does not say you have a right to happiness itself – only to the pursuit of happiness. So you pursue… and pursue… and pursue happiness by looking outside of you.
