You have been having experiences since you were born, since before you were born. I will congratulate you, for you are fulfilling one of the purposes for which you were born – to have experiences. You are in the world so you can have experiences and get enlightened. Pleasurable experiences make you happy. Painful experiences make you change. But experiences alone are not enough.
