Yoga takes you in a different direction than you’re used to going. You’re used to expanding outward. You probably love to expand. To get out there, to laugh, to dance, to gush and burble. Singing does it, too, which is why we chant. But chanting takes you inward. The yogic expansion is an inner expansion.
